Ever-changing Trends

Hair extensions are as diverse as accessories. One day, the Farah Fawcett look is in, the next day it’s the Rihanna inspired bob. Whatever it is, hairstyles are ever-changing and keeping up with each and every trend is as difficult (and expensive!) as trying to juggle five glass bottles. Here are some hair extensions tips for you to look stylish but at the same time maintaining a look which surpasses any trend which comes their way.
First, do your research and flip through magazines or websites containing photos of celebrities who have not changed their hairstyles for years and at the same time works positively for them. Face shape is an important factor when trying to find a perfect look. After short listing a few hairstyles which you may want to try, refer to the second step to decide on the perfect one.

The problem for most people is that many do not know their face shape. In order to determine your face shape, look into a mirror and take an old lipstick or a temporary whiteboard marker and draw your face shape according to what you see. There are 5 main face shape categories: Round, square, oblong, triangle and heart shaped. For example, those with round faces should never go for the pin straight look because it only accentuates the roundness of the face.

Besides the cut and the style, color plays a very important role in looking for that perfect look. The color of your hair shouldn’t be determined by the opinions of others or by copying someone else just because it looks good on them. In this world, there are two main skin tones: Warm and cool. If your veins appear to be greenish, you are more of a warm tone and if your veins appear to be blue, you are most probably a cool tone. Take for example; a girl with a warm skin tone would probably look better with dirty blonde hair than platinum blonde.

So you have got your style and colors covered, so next, make sure the hair extensions suits your age, profession and lifestyle. All in all, just remember this, a hairstyle should always compliment your looks and never diminish that by following trends just because your favorite A-list stars are sporting them.
